Best Outback Journeys | Seafood Tours

Eyre Peninsula

The westernmost peninsula of South Australia, with the State's largest fishing industry. Here you can be assured of some of the world's best fresh seafood; tuna, lobsters, oysters and more. Port Lincoln is a small seafront town with a picturesque bay dispersed with islands. An agricultural region with many farms inland and a cost of wild deserted beaches, rocky cliffs and the most amazing natural wildlife. Ceduna on the western coast of the peninsula is the last place to stop before taking the trek across the Nullarbor.

Nullarbor desert

One of those trips which is well known around the world is to take the road between Adelaide to Perth across the Nullarbor plain. A journey of around 1700 kilometres of dead straight road from Port Augusta to Norseman, and at first sight you would think that there is very little else. However, with a little research, or a well-experienced guide, you can discover the Great Australian Bight with its limestone cliffs plunging down to the Southern Ocean; unique aboriginal caves; secluded beaches where you can relax and take a dip in the turquoise waters. No crowds, no towns, no little boutique shops, no commercialisation, this trip is for the nature lover. You may be lucky and see an emu, a dingo, camels and maybe even the odd kangaroo. An incredible journey!
