It’s a chance for riders to leave their wintry European bases and compete under the summer sun, to earn crucial points and be cheered on by passionate fans. The 2025 Santos Tour Down Under stages are a blend of tradition and innovation as the race covers 1198 kilometres across South Australia. The Santos Tour Down Under invites the whole state to the party by taking the race through South Australian regions. The race typically starts within the exciting Adelaide city street circuits, with the following stages predominantly being held in regional South Australia.

Day 1

16th Jan

Arrival to your Fully Serviced Apartments located on King William Rd Adelaide (tram stop just outside). Possibility for Bespoke Full day wine tour (with prior confirmation)
Day 2

17th Jan

Pick up from Bus Stop Meeting Point in Victoria Square at 9:30am for your bus transfer to Brighton to watch the start of the race. From there, the bus will drive you to the finish line where you’ll catch the race finishes and the podiums before taking you back into the city where you can enjoy the festivities in the Tour Village.
Day 3

18th Jan

Depart from the tour village in the morning on an air-conditioned bus to the start line at Unley where you will have a walk through before watching the start of the race from a private pen. Breakfast pack provided at the start line.

Once the race has started, you will then be taken to the Salopian Inn in McLaren Vale for a multiple course long lunch with 3 race pass throughs of the women's race.

After the finish, you will head to a wine tasting at Gemtree Wines before heading back to Adelaide CBD for a drop off at the tour village.
Day 4

9:30am Bus transfer to/ from Women's Stage 3 (or custom)
Day 5

20th Jan

Free day to explore Adelaide CBD. Possibility to do the Bespoke Full Day Wine tour with prior confirmation.
Day 6

21st Jan

9:50am Bus transfer to/ from Men's Stage 1 (or custom)
Day 7

22nd Jan

9:20am Bus transfer to/ from Men's Stage 2 (or custom)
Day 8

23rd Jan

9:45am Bus transfer to/ from Men's Stage 3 (or custom)

24th Jan

9:30am Bus transfer to/ from Men's Stage 4 (or custom)

26th Jan

Pick up via bus transfer from the Village in the morning. You will be taken to the start line where you will have a walk through before watching the start of the race from a private pen. Breakfast pack is provided at the start line.

Once the race has started you will be taken to the Lindsay Head Terrace at Adelaide Oval for a multiple course lunch and guided wine tasting while viewing the thrilling twenty race pass throughs!

You will then have a premium viewing of the finish line in a private pen before making your way back to the tour village in the CBD.
