  • Day 1

We pick you up from your accommodation in the city & from there we will transport you to Measdays Lookout, Mt Lofty, where your adventure begins! We will walk you back 180 years through the tough times of our pioneer women as we ride along the Pioneer Womens Trail. On our Electric bikes we will ride along the sustainable trails that have been built through Cleland Conservation Park. Hear the calming sounds of native birdlife, spot koalas and kangaroos! You can really relax & immerse yourself in nature, stopping at all the best hidden lookouts.

Stop for Lunch & enjoy the views at the summit of Mt Lofty Lookout where you can gaze out over the breath-taking divide between city and hills to reflect on your sense of achievement. We then descend through the park back to the summit of Mt Osmond. where we will return you to Hahndorf around 2.00pm. At Hahndorf you have the afternoon to explore the region on your bike at your leisure.

Distance/Difficulty: 20km, Moderate difficulty (some off-road riding experience recommended)

  • Day 2

Your friendly guide will pick you up and transport you to the beautiful Langhorne Creek wine region. Winding your way through the vineyards on electric bikes, you will visit wineries on the Grapes for Good trail, a conservation initiative of Monarto Safari Park and six wineries, including Bremerton Wines, Kimbolton, Vineyard Road, The Wine House and Bleasdale Winery. After taking in the fresh air and stunning views, and of course a taste or two of the local drop at each stop, you will follow the Bremer River to Lake Breeze. Once you’ve arrived you will be treated to a tasty picnic and bottle of sparkling Blanc de Blanc (with the option to swap to a red or white wine if that tickles your fancy!). Each of the Grapes for Good wineries features a wine that supports an animal at Monarto Safari Park. Part proceeds from the sale of these wines supports Zoos SA’s conservation work to help save vulnerable species from extinction in the wild. Why not collect all six along the trail? Grapes for Good is proof that wine can be a force for good. Every drop can go a little further and make a real difference. At the end of the day, you will be then transferred back to the Manna.

    Distance/Difficulty: 15km, easy flat riding

  • Day 3

    The wild is calling!

Immerse yourself in nature as you cycle Monarto Safari Park before the gates open to the public. Throughout the morning, it will just be you, nature, and the animals as they wake for the day.

See the sun rise over the expansive plains of the park as you enjoy a leisurely ride on an electric bike ride past incredible animals including rhinos, zebras and giraffe. Settle in at the waterhole platform to watch the gorgeous giraffe roam while you enjoy a light breakfast / morning tea including ingredients from local native ingredients sourced from the Ngeragi ya:yun (native food garden) on site.

To finish your amazing safari experience, you will take the walk of the brave during Lions 360, Australia’s only 360-degree lion encounter. This experience gives you a prey’s eye view into the world of these awe-inspiring predators and is guaranteed to leave you in awe.

After Lions 360 you will return to the new Visitor Centre Cafe where we will have Lunch before returning you to the City. Monarto Safari Park is the largest safari experience outside of Africa and is home to more than 50 species and over 500 animals.

    Distance/Difficulty: 10km easy
